(NEW YORK) -- Judge Judy Sheindlin has been sued by a woman who was involved in a bitter divorce with one of the TV star's producers.
According to TMZ.com, Patric Jones claims in her lawsuit that her ex-husband, Randy Douthit, sold Sheindlin the ex-couple's china and flatware for $50,000 -- more than $450,000 less than what Jones states they are worth.
Jones argues that Sheindlin conspired with Douthit on the sale, knowing that it was -- allegedly -- an act of revenge against the plaintiff.
Jones also claims that Douthit reduced his profit participation in Judge Judy in order to lower the amount of money he'd have to pay her in a divorce settlement.
Jones is asking that Sheindlin either return the china and flatware to her, or pay her $514,000. She also seeks punitive damages.
Sheindlin tells TMZ in a statement, "I have not seen any complaint by the former Mrs. Douthit, however, I don't owe this lady a cent. And if this 50-year-old woman would spend her time more productively at trying to find a job, instead of abusing the judicial system with frivolous lawsuits, we would all be a lot better off."
