My Chemical Romance launched its three-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium with a show built around the legacy of The Black Parade. The opening night featured dramatic staging, costumes, visual effects, and a performance style tied closely to the world of the band’s 2006 album.
The concert included a full performance of The Black Parade before moving into a second set that pulled from across the band’s catalog. Songs included Thank You for the Venom, Cemetery Drive, Planetary (GO!), DESTROYA, I’m Not Okay (I Promise), Na Na Na, and Helena.
Fans also heard Honey, This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough for the Two of Us and a rare live performance of Jack the Ripper, giving the night a few unexpected moments beyond the main album celebration.
Gerard Way led the show with the theatrical presence that has long shaped the band’s live identity. Pyrotechnics, detailed stage design, and character-driven visuals added to the scale of the performance as fans filled Wembley for the first night of the run.
